The main city of Lhasa from this airport is about 60 kilometers takes one hour and half. Lhasa is connected flight with different cities of China like Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Xian, Xining, Guangzhou. Flight to Lhasa from China counts domestic flights. Best season to travel Tibet from China

Tibet is with warm temperature and clear sky during month of May till October. The best time to visit Tibet depends on your travel plan and destinations inside Tibet. Most of the places in Tibet can visit during month of May till October. Month of April and November till December is also the suitable visiting major cities of Tibet like Lhasa. The main tourist movement in Tibet is in the month of July till September. Cost of the tour in the the low season beside mentioned moths are comparatively less.

Major places to include in your travel plan during Tibet tour

Lhasa, Shigatse, Gyantse, Everest Base camp via Tingri and Runbuk, Yamdrok Lake, Ganden, Samye, Namtso Lake, Tsedang are inside central Tibet and towards western Tibet are Mt Kailash, Lake Mansarovar, Guge Kingdom, walking around the Kailash valley, Tirthapuri. These are the major searching place to make a plan to visit Tibet. Few peoples choose to trek Kharta valley, Namtso Lake, Everest Base camp, Khamsung valley, Ganden to Samye.
